Qualifications for Membership
You must be employed by a federal, state, county, or municipal agency or department engaged in the police protection industry and work in the State of Connecticut.
Qualifying agencies and departments include:
Government criminal investigation
Government marshals'
Police departments
Emergency dispatch departments
Drug enforcement agencies
State police agencies
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Park police agencies
Federal police services
Correctional facilities
Highway patrol agencies
Transportation security agencies
$5 deposit is all that is needed to open a savings account; this is mandatory for membership.
A valid ID and SSN are required at the time of account opening. Proof of current address is required if your ID does not show it. ID sticker does not meet requirements.
